Team Dutch is Growing

05 June 2017

Well it may have been a while since our last news article but I can promise you it is only because we have been SOOOOOOOOOOOO busy and had some rather exciting things happen at Dutch Nurseries HQ. As you can tell by the title of the article we have some new members of the team that we would like to take the time to introduce to you all. Lets begin with Nikki

Nikki has joined us as a florist working through the week with Sylvia, Kelly and Sarah, however we must let you into a little secret as Nikki has been a part of the team before , when she was qualifying in her floristry course at Askham Bryan college she did her work experince with us in 2016. So as you can imagine when she came for her interview it was a lovely suprise and so nice to catch up and even nicer when we offered her the position. Nikki joins us with a qualification in floristry as well as a knowlege in floristry experience . She hasn't let us take a photo of her up to press but if you head over to our facebook page cheeky head florist Kelly has managed to snap one of her in action but shhhh don't tell her. In her spare time Nikki likes to run around after her cute little puppy "Frank" who we are yet to meet, but keep asking week in week out. So if you are passing by in the week please come in and say Hello.

Next we have the lovely Tristan

Tristan has joined us a florist working on a Saturday with Jaki , Kelly and Sarah. He has just finished his Level 2 floristry at Askham Bryan college having been taught by the same tutor as both Sarah, Kelly and Nikki and intends to go on to do his level 3 in September of this year- YAY !. Tristan will be the youngest member of our team (sorry Kelly you are no longer the baby of the family Dutch Nurseries) bringing with him a vibrancy and youthfull glow to his floristry. In his spare time Tristan loves to spend time with family and friends , he also has the cutest pet Rabbit for which he made a floral circlet to wear- I have to be honest I have never seen a more stylish rabbit myself. Again if you are passing the shop on a Saturday please come say Hello - you can't miss him as he towers above us all- useful for bucket lifting off the stand.

So that is what we have been busy with .. a very exciting time for us here at Dutch Nurseries and great to see our team growing ! Only thing is it means making more cups of coffee and tea on a morning , but we don't mind that really xx
